v0.9 · AES-256-GCM · 15 modules
CortexGuard is a hosted Discord security bot that stops raids, spam, phishing and bad actors — before they cause damage.
Protection suite
15 independent modules, each with its own configurable action and thresholds. Enable only what your server needs.
Detects coordinated join bursts and triggers automatic bulk kick or ban before damage spreads. Default threshold: 8 joins in 8 seconds.
Image-based CAPTCHA on join. DM-first delivery with channel fallback. Configurable timeout and auto-kick on failure.
Sliding-window message tracking per user. Default: 5 messages in 4 seconds. Configurable threshold, window and action.
Blocks unauthorized URLs with a per-server whitelist and exempt channel list. Warn-before-ban mode included.
Removes Discord server invite links instantly. Configurable channel exemptions and punishment action.
Trap-channel detection — any message in a protected channel triggers an immediate kick and full message purge.
Rejects accounts younger than a configurable minimum age. Default: 30 days. Actions: kick, ban, or timeout.
Stops mass-mention attacks in a single message. Default action: kick. Threshold fully configurable.
Regex-powered word filter, compiled once per config change. Zero overhead on every message at runtime.
Configurable uppercase percentage threshold with adjustable minimum message length before the rule applies.
Blocks 21 dangerous extensions by default — executables, scripts, archives and web files. Fully customizable list.
Detects both Unicode and custom Discord emojis. Configurable max count per message and minimum message length.
Detects Unicode lookalike character abuse (Cyrillic, Greek, full-width). Blocks automod bypass attempts and heavily obfuscated messages.
Applies and lifts channel slowmode automatically based on real-time message volume. Self-managing, zero manual input.
Automated warning pruning after a configurable period. Default: 90 days. Runs hourly with zero overhead.
Our commitment
CortexGuard does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. What happens on your server stays on your server.
Message content is read in real time for detection only and is never written to disk. Once a message is processed, it is gone.
Every sensitive setting — channel IDs, role lists, action types — is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Configuration is never stored in plain text.
Your server data is never sold, rented, shared or transmitted to advertisers, analytics providers or any other third party.
Only guild IDs and user IDs are stored — public Discord identifiers required for moderation records to function. Nothing more.
CortexGuard uses no cookies, tracking pixels, analytics SDKs or telemetry of any kind. There is nothing to opt out of.
Server administrators can clear any user's moderation history at any time with a single command. No request needed.

By adding CortexGuard to your Discord server or using its commands, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please remove the bot from your server.
CortexGuard is a Discord security bot developed and maintained independently. The bot is provided as a hosted service. "We", "the bot" and "CortexGuard" refer to the software and its maintainers.
You must be at least 13 years old to use CortexGuard, in compliance with Discord's Terms of Service. Server administrators are responsible for ensuring that the use of this bot complies with all applicable laws and Discord's own policies.
CortexGuard may be used for protecting Discord servers from spam, raids and malicious behaviour, automated moderation, and logging moderation actions within your server. You agree not to use CortexGuard to harass, target or discriminate against users in any way that violates Discord's Community Guidelines or applicable law.
Server administrators are solely responsible for how CortexGuard is configured and used on their server. Misconfiguration that results in erroneous bans, kicks or mutes is the responsibility of the server administrator.
CortexGuard stores moderation records (warnings, punishments) associated with Discord user IDs and guild IDs. These records exist solely to enable the bot's moderation features. Administrators can clear all records for a user at any time using the /mod clearwarnings command.
CortexGuard is provided "as is" without any warranty of uptime, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. We reserve the right to modify, update or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the maintainers of CortexGuard are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the service, including but not limited to moderation errors or server disruption.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the bot after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
For questions about these terms, please contact us through our official Discord support server (discord.gg/WNCMA5QYt8).

CortexGuard is built to collect as little data as possible and to never share, sell or monetise any information related to you or your server.
CortexGuard collects and stores only the minimum data required to function:
All data is stored in an encrypted database managed by CortexGuard's infrastructure. Sensitive configuration fields are encrypted using AES-256-GCM. The encryption is managed server-side as part of the hosted service.
We do not sell, rent, trade or share any data with third parties. There are no advertising integrations, analytics platforms or data brokers involved. The only "sharing" that occurs is Discord's API delivering events to the bot in the normal course of its operation — Discord's own privacy policy governs that relationship.
As a server administrator, you can clear all warnings for any user with /mod clearwarnings, view any user's moderation history with /mod warnings, and remove the bot from your server at any time to stop all data processing. For a full data deletion request, contact us through the support server.
We apply AES-256-GCM encryption to all sensitive configuration fields, use database write-ahead logging for data integrity, and do not expose any database interfaces externally. No method of storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable and proportionate measures to protect your data.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the service or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated via our official Discord support server.
For any questions or concerns about how your data is handled, please reach out through our official Discord support server (discord.gg/WNCMA5QYt8). We will respond to all legitimate inquiries within a reasonable timeframe.
